Graham Byrnes of B & B yacht designs is the designer and captain of the Southern Skimmer that was this years winner in the Watertribe 2007 Everglades Challenge. He is also the designer of the the Core Sound 17, the Bellhaven 19 and many more. Graham along with his wife Carla sailed over 12 years and 85,000 miles on their circumnavigation.

Jeremy Wyatt, a director at the World Cruising Club shares with us stories about the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) and the Classic Malts Cruise. The latter is a cruise from distillary to distillary in Scotland and sounds like a good time is had by all. The ARC is the largest trans-ocean sailing event in the world, every year the ARC brings together over 150 yachts from all over the world.

John Williams a retired British marine officer had an exciting career on the Thames river. Now that he is retired he is passionate about Seagull engines. Seagull engines are small outboards dating from the 1930's. He also is a member of the Eventides owners group which to quote him "We are active and busy, a friendly group of builders, restorers and owners. We organise sailing meets and social events. Long live the Eventiders!"

Grahame Shannon, yacht designer and creator of Autoship shares with us his ideals behind boat design today. In 1995 he resumed his design career by working on the America's Cup yacht Mighty Mary. One of his philosophies is "Beauty sells boats" and we must agree with him.
