Sailing the Atlantic on $7 a day

"Stephen O’Connell has a taste for adventure that has yet to be squelched. In 1996, his attempt to sail down the East Coast in a 19-foot sailing dory ended in gale-force winds and a rescue after only 3 days at sea. O’Connell returned to the raging Atlantic last August through October to try again. This time, he braved Tropical Storm Bonnie — and lived to tell the tale."
