Upper Thames Rally
"The next two days were spent leisurely cruising down the river in glorious sunshine and generally very light winds. There were very few other craft out this early in the year to enjoy the very pleasant scenery of this part of the Thames, which skirts the southern edge of the Chilterns. We soon became quite adept at bridge shooting. Even cruising folk have a natural competitive streak, and considerable satisfaction was gained in shooting a bridge so efficiently that one overtook a few others in the process."
