 Iain Oughtred's Ness Yawl

"Bobbing elegantly to her anchor among the usual medley of plastic cruisers on a summer's day at Studland Bay, the long and lean double-ended sailing boat immediately caught my eye. There wasn't time to go and investigate, but among all the seductive shapes of hull to be seen around our coasts, the double-ender combines spare purity with practical Viking seaworthiness in a way I have always admired."
