Boatcamping in Northern Canada

"We call it "boatcamping" here. We really thought we'd invented it. But thanks to Richard Gooderick's web page, I read that you sailors from the UK have been doing this for years, and call it "open-boat cruising". Is it the same thing? Clearly we are newer at this than you are: Let's compare experiences! This is a splashy tale of two friends each skippering a dinghy, that took some adventuresome teenagers and a mutual ladyfriend out on a circumnavigation of Amisk Lake, Saskatchewan."
