Cruising aboard sailing vessel Morgan Truce

"Our family of four had been sailing for just a couple of seasons when we got the urge to go cruising. Even though our sailboat was very small and was located along the upper Ohio River, we soon learned that "...you can sail anywhere from here!" We prepared our lovely little Nimble 20 Morgan Truce over the winter and took off down the Ohio River in the spring of 1995. Our charts included the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers, the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway, and Mobile Bay. Our adventures took us much further-- covering over 3,000 miles in 14 months. Our extremely shallow draft boat allowed us to get into places most other cruisers never see... and meet interesting people we would have otherwise missed."
