Beer Cheese Soup

| ||2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. butter
2 cans (10 3/4 oz each) condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 cup beer or nonalcoholic beer
1 cup milk
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. paprika
3/4 lb. process cheese such as Velveeta cubed.
In large saucepan, saute onion in butter. Stir in next 6 ingredients. Reduce heat; stir in cheese until melted. Heat through (do not boil). 6 servings
